Due to every person‘s and animals particularities and needs,
we conduct a first consultation to hear about the concerns
or problems in focus, taking it all into consideration to choose
what techniques will better suit that situation. Aromas Ritual’s

What is Reiki?
Reiki (pronounced “ray-key”) is a complementary therapy that promotes deep relaxation and natural healing. It works by using energy (also known as chi/ki or prana) to heal on many levels, physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. It is the same energy that is worked with in Acupuncture, Shiatsu, Tai Chi and Yoga.
It originated in Japan early in the 1900’s and was developed by Mikao Usui. The original system was used mainly for self-healing and spiritual development. It was only later when it came to the Western world that it became a system to treat others.
Reiki is a holistic therapy that treats the cause of the problem and not just the presenting condition. This means that it can help with a wide range of conditions including stress, anxiety, and sleep problems to name a few.

What can Reiki do for my pet?
The following list shows the conditions/issues that Reiki has been
known to help with:
Physical; itches, tendon/ligament injuries, stiffness, preparing
for/recovering from competition, loss of appetite and post-operative recovery
Emotional; restlessness, anxiety, mistreatment/bad experiences, bereavement and loss, nerves, competition stress.
Behavioral; spooking, separation anxiety.
Groundwork; performance issues
Owner / Pet relationship; develop a closer bond
Healthy animals can benefit from Reiki too! Let your pet enjoy a deeply relaxing treatment that will enhance their general well-being.
What happens during application sessions?
The pet will decide which option is most suitable and all methods are equally effective. Most animals will show deep relaxation during treatments.
Applications usually last for about 1 hour although some sessions have been known to last up to 2 hours! Initial sessions maybe shorter as the pet gets used to the healing energies working on them. The pet decides how much Reiki they have and its circumstances.
Following an application, it is best to leave them for a couple of hours to fully absorb the energies and allow the healing to continue. They may feel calm and relaxed or they could be energized, all animals will respond in the way that is right for them. Your loved one may drink more water than usual and pass more wind/feces, this is normal as Reiki helps the body to re balance and release what is not needed.
How many treatments are needed?
While a one-time treatment would be beneficial, to get the most from Reiki a course of 4-6 applications would be recommended. However, every animal is treated as an individual and sometimes fewer treatments are required to resolve the issue.
Pets are intricately connected to their owners and mirror physically what their owners are feeling mentally and emotionally. Therefore, we created the "Pet & Owner" package whereby you can both enjoy the healing benefits of Reiki for a reduced price.
Pet Reiki treatments cost $40 and the "Pet & Owner" package is currently available for $50.
Due to COvid-19 we are mostly doing long distance services. However, in some cases we can assist within Colorado,USA area and Brazil (States may vary) and will travel further for group bookings upon request.
***IMPORTANT***
You must gain consent from your Vet before your pet receives Reiki. This is achieved by simply contacting your Veterinary Practice and asking for approval that your pet can receive Reiki.
Reiki is not intended to replace or act as an alternative to conventional treatments given by a Vet.
The healing of animals by contact healing, by the laying on of hands or distant healing is legal. To give emergency first aid to animals for the purpose of saving life or relieving pain is permissible.
